Yes, I know. I have been negligent in upkeeping the news here on the site. I have to confess that I have been very busy and just haven't had the time to do it. I haven't been at the court for a month, and don't figure I will get there too soon. I have had visitors from the mainland and am right now enjoying my Daughter Marissa from San Diego. I figure the rest of the holidays will continue to bring more of the same.

Oh, our gas prices are up to $2.25 a gallon at the cheapest now, thought you might be interested in that.

It has been raining for the last few days. Maui has been without it's usual rainfall for the last 4 or 5 years so this is greatly appreciated. The only problem is 'no volleyball'. It has been a while since it rained like this. I feel bad for the tourists that have spent a lot of money to vacation here but Maui really needs this. Even with the rain Maui is still beautiful and lots of things for them to do.

I hear people from the mainland whining about gas prices there. Well here on Maui the lowest gas to be found is $2.15 a gallon for unleaded. The gas companies here have us by the throats, not much we can do but press our state legislators to straighten this out.

This rain should let up soon and we will be back to the beaches playing some vb.
