I finally found how the guys did.. I found it at Volleyball.Org.
Watt and Brian won their first match against Minier/Perlstrom 15-11. They lost their next match to Jennings/MacDonald 15-6.
Kevin and Kevin lost their first match to Orgega/Pursley 15-11.

The guys were in the Manhatten Beach Qualifer tourney... None of the guys made it into the tourney.

Kevin Jones and Kevin Baltonado have made it into the Manhatten Beach AVP tourney this weekend. They have gotten seeded 75th out of 80 teams. Way to go guys!

Watt Thongtrakul is also playing in the tourney, he is seeded 70th with 6 AVP points.

It is good to see guys from our court doing well on the mainland.

Everyone here is rooting for you guys, way to go!

Michael from the Big Island was here playing some games too. Looks like he might be moving back for a while.

Terry and Vicky (Ventura, Ca.) showed up on the courts this week. They are some of the very few that email me having seen this webpage saying they are coming. Usually, If they do show up, no one ever lets me know that they had contacted me via the Internet.

Barry, is still here from Solvang, Ca. we played some games on Monday. Herm Denitz and I played a couple of fun games on Monday also. Ken H. and Tara showed up along with Rob.

Jeff Poppinga and friends are putting up some lights on the Kihei court so that we can play some night ball this Saturday. Why not come on down and have some fun.. It should be a lot of fun.

The courts are looking great, went yesterday and played a couple of games with Herm Denitz. We played Ken H. and Barry from Solvang Ca.. Herm recently had his 70th birthday... Happy Birthday to you Herm!
Tom showed up at the court and played a game too and that was all that showed up. So the total was three games for Monday. It was absolutely beautiful on the beach.. The sun was shining and there were gentle tradewinds blowing, perfect conditions.

We have a number of players on the mainland. First, Kevin Baltonado and Kevin Jones recently won the Manhatten Beach 'A' tourney... Congrats to you! I see that Watt Throngtrakul placed 3rd in both the Laguna 'AAA' and Manhatten 'AAA'.. Watt is still playing great. Scott Rotten is on the mainland for a couple of weeks with his wife. Rob Meyers and his wife Besty are also on the mainland where Rob will be playing with Robert Chavez in the Gillis in Manhatten Beach.. Sean Rudesill will be in Santa Cruz playing in the infamous 'Earth Karma' tourney. We miss you all!
